Things I Learned On A Business Trip To Jeju Island

Jeju

I’m sure you’ve heard the saying, “Life is too short to work in a cubicle.” Well, while I do enjoy my office environment, it’s not confined to just there. The same rules apply to trips like this one, where you also want to enjoy your time away from your office or cube.

Jeju City is a city in South Korea. It is located on the southwest coast of the Korean Peninsula, facing the East Sea (Sea of Japan).

I went on a business trip to Jeju, which was an excellent decision. The island is beautiful with warm people, and visiting its beautiful nature has been a wonderful experience. Here are some of the things that I have learned while here:

The city is not just about beaches.

So I have learned that the city is about more than just beaches; the people are friendly. Also, I have known that you should never judge a book by its cover. The food, culture, and people make Jeju Island unique, and there are many things to do on this beautiful island.

The Food is Fantastic

The food is fantastic. You can find everything from Korean BBQ to sushi, ramen to pizza, and Italian food to Asian Fusion. The local cuisine on Jeju Island also has a unique flavor you will not find anywhere else in Korea.

Be ready to spend time in the rental car.

This is the most important tip of all. You want to arrive on time for your meeting or miss your flight because you were stuck in traffic.

If you want to avoid these problems, get a rental car that is comfortable and easy to drive. Feel free to upgrade if it’s available.

The smaller cars are more expensive than their bigger counterparts, but they’re also easier to work with and less stressful when driving on the road.

When it comes to choosing a rental car, think about how much space you want for your belongings and what size of vehicle you’ll need for your needs.

Eat less, move more.

The biggest thing I have learned on this trip is to eat less. I am very active and like running, walking, and swimming every day. But when I was on Jeju Island, I discovered that the food there is much healthier than what we usually eat in Korea. The meals consisted of vegetables and fish with rice or noodles, which were delicious. So, instead of eating all those rich foods we usually eat in Korea, we decided to eat healthy meals while traveling on Jeju Island.

We also tried to walk as much as possible during our stay there. We walked along the beaches and visited some of the natural parks on this island. The weather was also lovely, so we could easily spend a lot of time outside without getting too hot!

I have learned some skills that make my daily routine much more accessible.

Natural Beauty

I have learned a lot of things on this trip:

  1. I have learned that you should go with the flow and enjoy your life. You should not worry about anything and just let it go.
  2. I have learned that you can do anything if you try hard.
  3. I have learned that everyone has different ways of expressing their feelings, so don’t judge others from the outside.
  4. I have learned that there are always good times ahead after bad times.

Eco-Friendly Environment

I had a fantastic time on Jeju Island. The food was delicious, and the people were friendly. The first thing that caught my attention when I arrived on Jeju Island was the natural beauty of this place! Even though it’s cold outside at night, we can see stars in the sky because there is no pollution here!

The next thing that caught my attention was how people lived in harmony with nature here. They planted trees along their roadsides so they wouldn’t cut them down for firewood or charcoal production purposes. They also planted flowers around their homes and schools so other people could see how beautiful this place was!

While cities have skyscrapers which make you feel like you are in any other city, here you will find a lot of nature.
