NFL Picks Week 11 – Saints Vs. Vikings

sports pick

A few NFL betting odds are out for this week’s game between the Minnesota Vikings and New Orleans Saints. The Vikings opened as -2.5 favorites with a total of 54.5, and the Saints opened as +2 underdogs with a total of 53.5. Their current line is 37, meaning the Vikings are a one-point favorite. This sports pick means that if you bet $100 on the Vikings, you would win $133 profit over a month!

Vikings win

The Minnesota Vikings will travel to New Orleans to play the Saints in Week 11 of the NFL season. The Saints are currently 2-6, while the Vikings are 5-3.
Both teams have struggled this season, but this matchup has intriguing storylines.
Who wins? The Vikings have been a much better team than their record shows, especially on offense. They have one of the top offenses in the NFL and should be able to put up some points against this defense. The Saints have been playing without their best defensive player in linebacker Stephone Anthony, which has also affected them offensively (they rank 23rd in points per game). If they get back on track with him, they could bounce back into playoff contention in the NFC South.

OVER 44.5 points

The New Orleans Saints are 0-4 against the spread in their last four road games and have failed to cover in their previous four games as a home underdog.

The Minnesota Vikings are 3-1 ATS in their last four Sunday games and 5-0 SU in their previous five games.

Vikings -2.5

The Vikings are in a must-win situation with the Saints this week. With the Patriots game coming up next week, they need to win this game and hope that the Patriots lose. The Vikings have lost two straight games by a combined score of 49-24, which is not suitable for a team that’s supposed to be a contender for a Super Bowl.

The Saints are playing well this season, but their defense has been inconsistent at times, and that will be on display this week against Minnesota. The Vikings have one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL right now, and they can only afford mistakes from him if they want to win this game.

I’m taking the Vikings -2.5 this weekend because they’ll find their groove again and put up some points against New Orleans’ defense.

OVER 44.5 points

New Orleans Saints (+3) at Minnesota Vikings

The Saints are coming off a win against the Rams, where they scored a season-high 39 points, but their defense got shredded by Jared Goff and company on Sunday. They head to Minnesota to take on Kirk Cousins and the Vikings, who have won four of their last five games. The Saints have been shut out in five straight games, which is not a good spot for them to go over. The Vikings are also coming off a road win against the Bills while they’re also undefeated at home this season (7-0). With that being said, this game will be close throughout, and I don’t see New Orleans upsetting this one outright. With two straight wins on the road combined with an offense led by Drew Brees at quarterback and Alvin Kamara back in action, we should get another big over here.

Conclusion

This will be a very competitive game between two teams who play smash-mouth football. The Vikings will be favored, but the division rivalry and the need for a New Orleans victory could be too much for Minnesota’s road-weary defense to cope with. I predict the Saints will win in a very physical matchup.
